Please drop off and pick up your student in front of the Main Office.
- Teachers and our Safety Patrol are on duty in this area to ensure that your student is directed to waiting areas or classrooms before and after school. Dropping your student off in other areas leaves them unsupervised. Picking up your student in other areas is also a safety hazard.
Please pull your vehicle all the way forward in the car drop off/pick up line.
- Pulling forward allows more students to enter their vehicle at one time, thus reducing the wait time in the car line. Also, your car may hinder the flow of traffic causing delays when a car stops at the first opening of the pick-up area. Students can exit the vehicle anywhere along the white fence.
- Due to the number of limited Safety Patrol please do not wait for safety patrol to open the door. Again, your child may exit anywhere along the white fence. Please do NOT wait for your vehicle to be in front of a gate. Again, anywhere along the white fence is acceptable.
All visitors please sign in at the front office.
- To ensure the safety of our students and school personnel, BCE needs to account for all visitors to our campus. If you need to come onto our campus, please sign in at the front office first.
Eliminate Distractions.
- Please turn off your radio and not be on your cell phone while in the car pick up lane.
- Per CCPS policy, No PETS are allowed on campus. This includes the car rider line.
- If we all work together, we can have a safe and effective school for all of our students.
Dismissal Time.
- Please leave the car rider tag up until your child is in your car. When it comes to Dismissal and the pick-up line, it is imperative that we all work together. The car line usually starts down 1st Ave SW.
- If you are coming in off of the Boulevard and see that the line has reached and exceeded pass the Max Hasse Park entrance, PLEASE make an immediate right and fall into the BACK OF THE LINE. Please DO NOT cut in line or cut off the parents who have been patiently waiting. You will see that dismissals usually is complete by 3:15.
